Not Insomnia.
I’m chionging a Math Revision Paper and its torturous. Tuition is at 8. AM. My tuition teacher is so mean. She knows my sleeping habits and she demands for 8. And here I am, rushing to do her work but it’s almost impossible because I’m dying with this bad throat and I have zero concentration. Luckily, I’m not sleepy, yet.
You can blame it on my lack of proper time management.
Anyway, the fever has gone down (I think). I was determined to sleep off the fever so I went back to sleep everytime I woke up. Ended up sleeping about 12 hours and waking up at 4PM. Did some of The Right Word (killer) and headed to Vivo to meet Zhan for dinner/mugging. We became nomads because we had dinner at Superdog, then went to Pacific Coffee to mug till 10 (they close too early) followed by Coffee Bean till 11. Sean, they sell your Vanilla Tea Latte at Coffee Bean!
I’ve got a real good plan for the first week of school. Definitely excited for it.
Programme for tomorrow today: Tuition at 8. Sleep at 10. Wake up at whatever time (Probably 5). Do New Year’s Eve’s Reflections (ie. Blog) and mug Econs. Meet Puaybing for Countdown. <3 Mug more Econs into the night. Shall finish it before school reopens.
This dreading-school feeling is so familiar. I guess its the last time I’ll feel it in a long time. Well, surely there’s still March, June and September Holidays.. But they aren’t really holidays right? This year-end holiday has been such a great one. Next year’s will be even better. Until August ‘09! When I get into Uni. Well, that is if I enroll into a local university. The future seems so bleak :\
Edit: I’ve finished my paper Its 7.15AM and I’m going to get throat drops from 7eleven.

Great, my post disappeared because I logged off from WordPress in another window. Forgetful me.
I’m having a terrible sore throat, coupled with symptoms of fever. I blame it on not drinking water before I slept 2 nights ago.
Woke up late today and met Zhan 2 hours late. Lol. Lunched at Hong Kong Kim Gary Cafe (Again! Yummy.) and accompanied him to do some trumpet bbq shopping at IMM’s Giant Hypermarket, with Yuyan. Oddly, I was desperate to get some sleep. Anywhere. Fatigue or exhaustion, somewhere along that line. And I got a throbbing headache sometime in the midst of the grocery shopping and had to get Panadol from Guardian.
Met my section at the Hong Kong Cafe at Marina Square (HK again! But I didn’t eat.) and rushed to VCH for SparksWinds concert. I was so tired, I fell asleep for 3 songs. (On Puaybing’s shoulder. Haha.) What a waste of my own money ): Went to MOF with Mingxuan, Puaybing, Mel, Kristen and Jasmine for dinner and ice cream. Some Mingxuan Lovin’ :D Parents helped to fetch MX and Kristen home after that.
I’m feeling hot and cold all of a sudden after I reached home. My hands and feet are almost frozen while my entire body is extremely hot. Its crazy because I had to use Maximum Heat for my shower just now, which is insane because it is (usually) too hot for the human touch. This is Bad with a Capital B.

PS. Btw, I found out how to blog privately without having it to appear as a Protected Post. (In other words, not appearing at all!) Yay! I’m such a noob.

Hi all! I haven’t blogged for days and I’m bursting with excitement to blog all about it! :D Long post!
Christmas Eve
Eventful, I’d say. Bits of shopping at Raffles City Shopping Centre, followed by meeting up with Bize, Shengyuan, Jefri, Stuart to shop at Far East Plaza for ties. Bought sashes which I didn’t use in the end (low-quality). Left the boys and met Gen at Wisma Isetan Shunji Matsuo Hairdressing outlet to get our fringes trimmed :D Exciting! Haha, it didn’t even take 5 minutes for mine? My fringe feels much lighter now, haha. Bumped into the boys again at Taka while Gen and I did our window-shopping. Trained home with Gen and went out for dinner with parents at some Thai restaurant along Sunset Way. And guess who I met there! No other than Michelle Tan and family! Haha. And I was so surprised that I shouted, MICHELLE TAN! Haha, I can imagine what her family thinks of me now :P That was really amusing. Went home and had an extremely late night.
Christmas Day (A Partridge in a Pear Tree)
Another QM outing! This time, Heads only! Haha. Had a full day of shopping with Puaybing at Bugis Street. We bought so many things! Lunched at the Cafe there before shopping for hours. Bought Edwin’s Christmas present (a shirt that spells ‘hero’, but when reflected spells ‘loser’ HAHAHA), a cute green tie, a new bag (Yay!) and Emily’s birthday present (a handbag resembling the one in Nodame Cantabile)! Puaybing bought lots of clothes, Patricia’s Christmas present (earrings), a belt and badges. My gosh, we spent hours combing that area and my legs were hurting from all that walking! But it was REALLY fun! We ought to spend more quality time like this :D Love you many Laoda! Bused home and had yet another late night like I mentioned in the previous post.
Boxing Day (Two Turtle Doves)
Concert Day! Went to school early to settle QM stuff/decorate the QM room/prepare QM toolbox for concert. The bus came and we departed, travelling to the Esplanade in the most queer route ever. Arrived at the Loading Bay and went to our dressing rooms. Was busy at the start due to the distribution of (super-oily) snacks and giving out sweets and Reese (chocolate peanut butter cups! :D). Band 1 was then made to sit and watch Band 2’s soundcheck before it was our turn. By the time we were done, it was nearing 6 and we had to stuff ourselves with dinner and change before going on stage when the house opened. Very rush indeed, but I’m glad I managed to give out more sweets and chocolates after a hurried dinner. Photos and more photos, all in my Flickr. 7PM and on stage for tuning. Band 1’s performance was so.. well, we all know how we sounded. But I personally think we did much better than rehearsals, so good job everyone! It was a good attempt anyway. Oh, Amazing Grace was pretty good, not as screwed up as I expected, except for that crash, which was a pity. Yup. My cheek muscles were SO tired, I have no idea why. Was leaking a lot of air towards the end of Pirates. Oh and I rushed for the solo. Haha, so much for attempting to following that particular baton. Intermission up next, went out to meet Cheryl :D Thanks for the Chocolates-in-a-star-box! Love it. Hamhams forever! Haha. Rushed back in and got ready for the carolling part. Actually I don’t get why they made us sit there through 4 songs without knowing half the lyrics or singing (properly) for that matter. We just sat there and looked (or attempted to look) glam. It was quite fun though, especially at Sleigh Ride (!) where we all clapped with the wood slap. Amusing. The last item was fun, and soon the concert was over. Oh wait, not forgetting Encore shouts from the choir. Ridiculously funny, but somehow I felt like singing the school song then. Anyway, everything was such a mess after concert: Packing up, giving out sweets and chocolates (still!), taking photos, dumping everything at the Loading Bay and running all around to check rooms for anything left behind, making sure ACSI got back their Sop Sax and we got back our Double Bass (Omg it’s damn heavy, serious.). It felt like some marathon, running the stretch of road from inside the Loading Bay to outside where we waited for the bus upteen times. Then moving all the stuff onto the bus and (literally) throwing bags and gifts all around the Double Bass (which took the whole back row of the bus). Reached school and it started drizzling so we hurried upstairs to keep/pack/arrange everything back. Home Sweet Home to QM Room (: Supper at HollandV with Zhan, Mel, Isabel, Amos, Derek, Jono. Took a while to find a proper place since Crystal Jade closed early and landed at Coffee Bean, which was closing in 2 minutes. We decided to call Macs (believe it or not) to be delivered to Coffee Bean. Got a huge Peppermint Vanilla Frappe at a discounted price thanks to Derek and had a long chat at the HollandV Market while waiting for our Macs. Went home about 2.30AM.
Day after Boxing Day (Three French Hens)
Emily called my house to wake me up for the Sushi Buffet at Cine’s Suki. And I was so tired even though it was already 11 plus in the morning. (Not surprising, considering I can sleep more than 12 hours when I’m really tired, like after a concert.) Made my way there slowly and eventually reached about 2PM? Emily, Sheree, Shengyuan, Ryan, Jinjun, Aaron were all there, and Daryl joined us later. (Haha, weird combination of ACJC and ACSI and RJC, sort of Honour Band-ish?) Was really hungry and started eating all the yummy sushi and side dishes (: We ate 22 plates of cream puffs, they’re really yummy :D Especially the frozen ones. Ate quite a lot for a buffet. Left about 4PM with Jinjun and Aaron for electone class, which was quite sucky. Went back home and spent the rest of the night on the computer/attempting to do math.
2 Days after Boxing Day (Four Calling Birds)
Math. And more math. I slept at 6 and woke up at 10, falling back asleep for another 2 hours before I could attempt to do anything. At 2.30 I fell asleep again and struggled with 10-minute alarms on my phone. Didn’t manage to do much productive work and eventually tuition was just crap. After tuition I was so tired out from the Math Stress I decided not to do anything else for the rest of the night. And though I am very tired.. I have no idea why I am still up at this time. Must stop having late nights. Must study Econs. Math. Mug. Homework. Bleh.
Okay. Finally done. Anyway, I realised I’m quite upset about that thing… Guess what I did in the spirit of fun didn’t seem like fun to you. Oh well. I’m really sorry. Its really okay when I say if you can’t forgive me for it. Yeah, sorry okay.

That song is kind of stuck in my head. I think we’ll be singing that tomorrow anyway, right? I have no idea how we’re gonna do those octave jumps, haha.
I promised that last night would be my last late night. Guess I broke that promise? Haha, its nearly 2. Was busy packing my file, packing my bag (NEW! Yay!), polishing my clarinet, and basically.. not sleeping yet. Lol.
I bought this Christmas Cake for 5 dollars from Marks and Spencer for my family to share. Its pretty small and.. Haha. Well, at least Waffle (my hamster) got to eat a bit of it. (:
Oh and, today while I was on the bus, I passed by this place called Bain Road (I think) and saw this:

Anyway, more updates tomorrow. Today was SO fun. Really. :D But its time to get some shuteye before tomorrow’s concert. Haha. Lets enjoy ourselves tomorrow!

What makes the moon so bright these nights? Take a look out of your window if you haven’t seen the beautiful night sky of December yet.
Anyway, I’ve had enough of late nights. Tonight’ll be my last one, I hope. Oh and an interesing point about my sleeping habits, no matter how hard I try to get a nice long sleep (i.e. 12 hours or more), I’ve been waking up after exactly 7 hours of sleep everyday. Of course I always go back to sleep after that, but the fact that I will definitely slip out of Dreamland after 7 hours is rather creepy. And exactly 7 hours. Like I wake up at 9.38AM when I sleep at 2.38AM. Or I wake up at 1.08PM when I sleep at 6.08AM. Weird right. I blame it on Band Fest. I’ve never had such precise sleeping hours before, until then.
What a Christmas Eve/Christmas it has been.
On a lighter note, I’m really excited! For… something! Haha. Night all! Merry Christmas :D
