I think I’ve gained it back. After losing it for more than a month now, I think I have gained it back.
I’ve been a workaholic for the past week. In all sense of the word, that is, if you take Band = Work. If not, then I guess I’ve been an academic slacker. LOL. (Wait, I still do homework. But studying, not really.) Everyday when I come home, there’s definitely something that I have to do for the trip. One day it’s updating the insurance list, another it’s the packing for percussion, and then there’s bus grouping, colour tagging, name tagging, lost&found tags, instrument checks, dimensions of handcarry, dimensions of check-ins, shopping to do, things to print, stuff to label, items to check… etc. But whatever, I am happy doing all these work. Because I am Saikang Warrior Head QM :D (LAUGH LAH LAUGH) But really, I am really happy doing rubbish shit saikang. Even though I am tired like crazy I still love it. Love the job, love the department, love it all. Call me crazy but yes, I still love it :D RIGHT, FELLOW SAIKING WARRIOR QM SEAN LAU FAT FAT! :D
Monday QM Saikang: Sean and I brought the Contra Alto and Bass Clar to Windworks (Aljunied) by foot/bus/mrt/foot. Tired like crappp.
Tuesday QM Saikang: Sean and I went to do SHOPPING :D Lunch at HollandV Nasi Lemak with MichelleTan and RachelLim followed by Cold Rock, then Fellow Saikang Warrior QM (FSWQM) Sean and I went to buy ribbons (for colour tagging) and cable wires (for instrument/name/lost&found tagging) at HollandV Shopping Centre. Trained to Jurong East and went to IMM to buy clear tags from Popular. Trained back to school to do my MEP recording, not too bad la.
Wednesday QM Saikang: FSWQM and I lunched at ACSI with Pb, went back to school to facilitate DSA. Measured percussion like mad (HAHAHA SEAN STOPS THE CYMBALS WITH HIS MOOBS) and did TAGGING :D The most fun saikang shit ever really, it gives a hell lot of satisfaction :D Ribbons for colour tagging, instrument and name tagging, lost&found tag tagging for some sections before I had to rush home for econs tuition.
Thursday QM Saikang: FSWQM and I went to collect the piccolo from ACSI, then went back to school to finish up the tagging till night time :D And when we finished we were SUPER HAPPY :D
Friday QM Saikang: Er, nothing really. LOL. Had GP mock test for 3 HOURS PLUS, my brain was more or less dead after that. Oh and I slept during both papers, how pro is that :D Cancelled math tuition cause my brain was super tired and I couldn’t think anymore. Went for Alumni and yeah. Jojoteki Matsuri is such a wacky name.
Saturday QM Saikang: FSWQM, Win Jim and I went to ACSI to get the percussion boxes, stick bags, cymbal bag, oboe and english horn stands in the morning. Was busy measuring stuff and trying to figure out how to pack percussion with Michelle during break. Got screwed at the end of the day, ah well. But anyway, tried out like 101 of benpooi’s reeds HAHA and left school super late. Dover zhicha dinner with FSWQM, then went to the NTUC near Blk5 and bought stuff. Walked out to the main road to take my bus (that means a hell lot of walking).
Sunday QM Saikang: Went to Ikea to find cardboard boxes, to ask to buy cardboard boxes, called Accent Teow for help hahaha.
I AM PROUD OF MY DEPARTMENT :D Super fun to do work with Fat Sean especially when he’s in his retardedly funny mode. I think I’ve never laughed so much as I did this week in my whole life :D

On Saturday, Emily Jim and I went to Fairfield to visit! :D (Not like I’m from Fairfield but yeah) Mrs Chua’s bands were having an exchange with CCK Band there! And just nice, when we went it was Fairfield’s turn follwed by Crescent’s :D I’m pretty proud of my juniors! :) They played William Tell and Variations on a Korean Folk Song. Good job, jiayou for NBC! :D Went to talk to Ms Low, Ms Azilah, Mr and Mrs Chua before leaving for lunch at Dover. Hmm.. Maybe after A’s I’ll go back to coach them :D (Provided Ms Low wants to employ me LOL) OH YAH and that stupid Win Jim, NEVER TELL US (being Fairsian NOOBS) ABOUT THIS HUGE STEEP STEP ALONG THE CORRIDOR, BOTH EM AND I JUST SLIPPED OFF THE STEP!!! ZOMG. It was like simultaneous falling. HAHA!
Sunday was my happy day :D SHOPPING! Decided to skip swimming and slept in (heehee), woke up like 12plus :D Parents fetched me to Tiong, trained to Dhoby to meet Mel! Lunched at Subway then went to Cotton On to buy pants :D Bused to Far East Plaza after that and window-shopped all the levels! Can’t believe we managed to do that with Mel’s aching foot. Bused/walked to Kino at Taka to look for Mel’s mags and I bought three mangas instead LOL. Tsubasa is moving so slowly, the last time I bought the manga was almost two years ago and only three new volumes were released :\ Then we went to The Better Toy Store where I bought some stuff.. I want the bunny angel! So cute haha. Went to the everyoneisbeautiful shop (LOL) and Mel bought stuff. Walked around, went to the TalkingHall, sat at Coffee Bean to rest our legs (lol) then went out and bused to Marina Square to eat Azasu Sabo Hokkaido ice cream! :D YUM heehee. Mel trained home aft that, I trained to Redhill and took a bus down to Ikea to do QM Saikang before going to Queensway Shopping Centre to buy new shoes for the trip! :D Oh yeah I met Sarah and her mum there LOL. Oh and it started raining and I almost became a blue alien (LOL private joke). And uh yes I am doing homework now LOL as usual. Sundays are chiong mep homework days (esp harmony) and I am a lau ya pok at coloured chords :D
YAY :D I am happy!
Take faith for there is hope.

My kind of time, just that the quiz I took several posts back says I am a 3.15PM kind of person. Maybe I am a Three-Fifteen kind of person, no particular distinction between ante meridiem or post meridiem.
So it’s the day night morning before school reopens and I am still up. Not surprising right. And it’s totally not amazing that I am doing homework because I’m always like this. Haha. Last minute work sucks but I guess it’s almost routine for me, to an extent.
Anyway, regarding my last day of the holidays, I spent the morning sleeping instead of swimming (unintentionally). It was raining so that explains haha. Went to school sometime in the afternoon to get some notes from my locker and had late lunch at Dover. I missed the bus twice, to school and back home, so I was kinda annoyed. Went running after putting my stuff at home, 7km again. Met the randomest of random people I could ever meet along the street, haha. Been attempting to do work ever since.
I’m tired. I think everyone only knows how to complain how tired they are, including myself. It’s ironic cause in the holidays I could sleep well enough (ie. at least 8 hours of sleep) but I didn’t really like it, especially the last week with the fixed waking time at 10AM thanks to tuition. I love sleeping in, without any form of alarm (parents included) to wake me up except my own consciousness. And planning to sleep in is even better. What a pig. But I’ll do just that this weekend :D
Okay, I should be in bed soon. Looong talks, announcements, Chapel, lectures, tutorials.. looong day tomorrow.

Drained.. Very drained. That’s my perpetual feeling for this week. I’ve been having tuitions everyday except Friday, cause there was band prac. That’s something. And I’ve a bad sore throat.
Econs tuition on Monday. Went for a 7km jog! :D Nonstop! Yay.
Math tuition on Tuesday. Slept late so after it ended at noon I went back to sleep again. Then went to school to meet Jim for lunch at Dover, back to school to sit around and stone before going for 10 laps. Jim is another lousypok at diving HAHA (speak for ourselves right MichelleTan :D) Bathed then went for Thai Express dinner at HollandV with Puaybing Sean Alson Jim.
Econs tuition on Wednesday. Went to school after that to drop my stuff, then trained to Bugis to meet Jim and Yinghao. We trained to Aljunied and it was pouring like mad. To make things worse only Jim had an umbrella so we took turns to walk to the Windworks workshop. Needless to say, we were semi-drenched. UGH. Sort of dried ourselves at the workshop but my shirt was still cold and wet ): Stayed at the workshop to wait for the clarinets to finish repair and then cabbed back to school to keep the instruments. Dried my clothes in school (YAY for hand dryers) and then trained to the east with Gerd :D Trained to airport and met Baohui to eat/mug/walk/shop/eat/mug at T3 haha :D Went to fetch ACSI when they arrived back from Japan!! Welcomed the BB back with lousy makeshift signboard hahaha :P Ruth’s parents fetched me home too, thank you!
Math tuition on Thursday, decided to go back to school to check serial numbers for the insurance. Had a long walk, long wait for the bus, long bus ride (well not really). But anyway walking under the sun at 4pm sucks.
Band prac on Friday. Dr Lee was tired, we ended super early. Dinner at Dover with Em, back to school to help out for Alumni for a while before going home.
Econs tuition on Saturday, lazing around in bed after that, Mel and Bize came over in the late afternoon, went to jog for a while, went to Vivo together, had family dinner at Marche, met them plus Derek, played with water and shadows, blah blah. I sound incoherent. Oh I bought lip balm from Body Shop. Yay! That’s one thing off the checklist for the trip.

Funny it’s only one day left to the holidays and yet I am not feeling any sense of repulsion towards the reopening of school. Well, perhaps some slight inertia, but nothing serious. It feels normal.. Like there weren’t any holidays at all. Afterall, I was back in school half the time. But it’s different, every year there is this strong sense of dread towards Term 3 especially, since June holidays are always too short to be good enough (aka can complete work plus relax and rest) or too long not to feel lethargic (aka have a slowed down pace of life). It’s even more amazing because unlike previous June holidays, I am not putting in any effort to do homework. Yes, very honestly speaking. I really ought to be panicking because I haven’t touched GP, haven’t started on Math, haven’t done my MEP work, and haven’t started on my PQ. I think I lost my determination actually. I don’t know. (Aw, so emo.) I’ve been studying and studying and studying and making notes and revising and trying to catch up on JUST ECONS. (Take that, bitch! Are you ****ing proud of me?!) And unfortunately I am still nowhere near the end. Well, you could say I compensated homework for revision. Guess that would be the only reason why I am not putting in any effort at all for homework. (I just started panicking for MEP though. It’s usually the first subject I panic for, or rather it is the only subject that I panic so much for. Terrible me.) So, to all my lovely teachers reading this piece of crap, I wanna say sorry for not doing your homework because I’ve been religiously revising my bloody favourite subject, ECONS! Yay to the best subject ever manzsxzsxzsx. Love it to the MAX. And I love guys who have andropause too.
Gosh I am so bad at controlling emotions, haha. Anyway, really funny I am feeling so jaded, (I hate this word actually. It’s so passe and cliche and everything disgusting.) or rather stoned. I am not depressed though, nothing like what happened 2 posts ago. I think I am numb. From whatever that happened this week. I shall look forward to lectures and tutorials. Having a fixed timetable again is a welcomed change.
Don’t worry too much about what I just said. I’m ranting/railing/spouting rubbish. Very very tired remember.
アノトキ,ワタシハホントニウレシエデス.ホント. My com sucks, I can only type katakana. Ugh.

If there is ever a time to be depressed, it is now.
I am depressed. Don’t bother asking.
What an emo statement.
Of Dim Sum, Amoy Street and Settler’s June 15, 2008

What a weekend it’s been! :)
QM Dept Outing! :D (Fri)
After a series of disappointing recordings in school (let’s not talk about that..), Sean, Puaybing, Yinghao and I left school to meet Yanshan at BV Mrt to train to Chinatown! :) We lunched at Yumcha and had Dim Sum High Tea Buffet! :D Heehee. It was good, almost everything was about prawns (LOL Sean went to heaven and came back again), har gao was really yummy, all those canto dimsum was pretty not bad :) My favs would be guo tie, white fish, har gao, mango pudding :D Unfortunately the xiaolongbao is nowhere near good :\ And the service was near terrible considering the grown-ups factor. Hello, we kids at this age eat a lot too okay! What kind of age group discrimination is this la! TSK. But well, they charged us one less person (HAHAHA) so I guess that made up for that LOL.
So anyway, after that we walked around before heading back to Chinatown MRT to check out our bearings -_- We decided to go check out our school heritage at the Old ACS House at 70 Amoy Street! :D So cultural/heritage-ish haha. I think every ACSian should visit there one day, even though it’s some pub downstairs and massage parlour upstairs.. There’re still some historical stuff there to see :) We got there after quite a LONG time cause it was quite far/our navigating skills not too excellent haha.

According to Pb, Do-Re-Mi (in terms of height). In the toilet -_-

Check this out! Oldham found ACS by chance :O

Old ACS House :) What a homely feeling :)
Then after walking Chinatown MRT -> 70 Amoy Street -> Clarke Quay MRT (note its like totally oppsite direction), we were all dead tired from all that walking. Met Winjim (after his lousy pick-rubbish-at-ECP-CIP) and headed to Settler’s Cafe! :D
We played really brainless games like Ugly Doll and Dino Bone before playing super strategic games like I’m the Boss and Bang :D SUPER FUN! Ugly Doll was like some lame snap game and Dino Bone is DAMN DUMB. Like our whole table was like ONE ONE TWO TWO THREE THREE FOUR FOUR kind of thing and STUPID SEAN HAHAHAHA keep exchanging with me the SAME FOUR CARDS until I started ignoring him and then he wanted to exchange with Pb who ignored him and exchanged with me instead LOL. The ultimate game was I’m the Boss, which is like about investment and making money all that. Silly Sean couldn’t catch up with the pace of the game (too strategic for him) so there was this super funny moment:
(Sean is drinking his ice lemon tea and stoning.)
Jim: Eh you can earn 5 million leh!
Sean: IS IT!! OKAY!!
Puaybing: -coolly- I’m your cousin. (Cousin cards can take away money earned from the character)
Sean: NO! NO! I REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOU! YOU ARE NOT MY COUSIN!!
Puaybing: I don’t care.
Sean: AHHH CANNOT! I, I, I.. I SUE YOU!! -flails his cash in the air-
Note: There is no such move called sue someone. Sean has an innovative mind :D HAHA.
Bang was funny too. Sean the Vice, Jim the Renegrade and Yanshan the Outlaw have died.
Sean: You’re the outlaw what, you cannot do this move one!
Me: I’M NOT THE OUTLAW! -in an attempt to hide my identity-
Sean: Huh is it? -puzzled look-
(When obviously I’m the Outlaw because Puaybing the Vice is helping Yinghao the Sheriff) LOL.
Then we got chased out in the middle of our second round of Bang ): What strict timings they have :\ Went to Central to get food for Jim (who missed out on DIMSUM thanks to some lousy CIP TSK TSK), then we went home :) HAPPY DAY :D
QM Training Day-turned-Mini outing :D (Sat)
So we all met up in less that 12 hours again. Pb practiced, Sean cleaned around haha, I gave the kids a 3 or 4 hour training :) So sorry yea, I forgot all about how hungry you all are for lunch (despite not eating breakfast myself, wth right!) and made you guys starveee. Sorry children! D: So after that being half-dead from the previous day and all, we headed to HollandV for Subway lunch without Sean who went home with a runny nose. Then we bused to Bras Besah and met Aryadni at Sweelee :D Haha, nostalgic beginnings. After settling some stuff we walked to Raffles City Shopping Centre where Pb left first, leaving me and the J1s to slack somewhere :D We went to Ben&Jerry’s to share a Large cuppa ice cream and then we played I never since there was free flow of iced water :D HAHA, what interesting things we uncovered that day :P After that we trained home, then I decided to go to IMM to buy our trip toolbox and screwdrivers. Yanshan accompanied me and it was quite a failed shopping trip since we only bought screwdrivers ): Time to look around for more durable toolboxes! Had a dinner of sushi and instant shrip wanton.
Today I woke up to receive news of the earthquake in Japan and panicked. So worried about Dr Lee, Pris, Amos and the BB, and everyone else. Finally managed to get in contact with Amos when he messaged me!! Phew, they were safe.. Thank God. What a scare. Anyway, went for 30 laps this morning while Pb did 60 laps haha. And there was the funny part about the lane separator when it came out LOL. Met Mel at the bus stop and we all bused to my house :D Bought sushi and noodles, reached home at mugged after lunch :) Pb left first then Mel, and then I went for a run again. 3.5KM nonstop, yay! :D Off to Vivo for dinner with parents and I saw a cockroach crawling around tables at Food Republic, eurgh.
Okay, time to mug :) Muggy week next week D:
MISSING YOU GUYS IN JAPAN, PRIS AMOS DARYL JENN KAHWEI AND EVERYONE! Come back quick with my jap bag BBF! And TAKE CARE PLS! :)
