It’s been so long since I’ve been so hooked on Japanese anime like this. I finished watching about 2 and a half series. crunchyroll is awesome. Okay time to sleep!!

That’s Happy Birthday in Japanese :D

Firstly, I haven’t officially said it on my blog so here goes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRISCILLA YUEN :D You’re 17 already omg, same age as me (for now)! Thanks for being an awesome friend and confidante <3 I will always be here for you friend! LOVE :D

Next, it’s Mrs T’s birthday on Monday (1 Sept) and we’re gonna celebrate it tmr! Indeed, she’s meant to be a teacher (since she was born on teachers’ day) LOL. And while Soomin and I were trying to think of how to buy a cake or presents for her in time, I came up with the idea of the three of us MEP khakis (plus Gladysheng) playing Happy Birthday for her! HAHA. Music from music students :D So yup, I came home today and started arranging/composing Happy Birthday for Clarinet, Horn and Bass Tbone! I finished it less than an hour ago, and it feels AWESOME :D 47 bars of jazzy Happy Birthday :D SO EXCITED TO PLAY IT FOR HER LATER :D

Aye, it’s been a long time since I’ve cracked my head like this for compo. And yeah I’ve come to realize I compose by hearing chords and not seeing them. But yeah, so proud I managed to do up an arrangement so quickly in like, 2 hours? HAHA. Okay maybe I’m noob but this felt great :D

I have to be in school in about 2 hours and I haven’t finished writing notes for teachers. I can’t believe the band has to report to school at 6AM when the rest of the school only arrives at 7.25AM and the teachers’ day celebrations don’t start until at least after morning devotions and announcements which will be around 8AM already. So we’re gonna rot/warm up for 2 hours. What a joke. Bah, I’m really tired.

Puaybing recommended me to watch this anime movie on crunchyroll before my practical tomorrow. It’s damn late now and I’m not going to get the rest I need, but I think I got the insight I needed.

‘Do you think I could play the piano and move people like Kai-kun does? Will I be able to play like that someday?’

‘You need to learn to love your own piano more. If you can do that, I’m sure you’ll understand. You won’t need to compare yourself to anyone.’

Perhaps It isn’t a bad thing to be born in a family of non-musicians. If not I’d suffer like Amamiya and might just end up hating music.

So I managed to finish both my compo writeups and didn’t study in time for Music. Awesome. It was the worst Music paper in my life. (Even J1 was better. How’s that.)

Met Amos and Joel to go the Emperor’s house to fix his Internet. I FIXED IT! :D Okay, Joel fixed it but I pressed the correct switch :D Bused to Guthrie to meet Alex to study at Coffee Bean, bus was horribly packed ): Ate the initially-intended-Emperor’s dinner haha. Still at Guthrie, gonna go home now. But before that, ice cream therapy! :D

I fell asleep on the table after updating last night then went up to bed at 6. I booked a Yamaha studio at PS at noon to practice for an hour today but guess what amazing time I woke up at today? 1.10PM. Absolutely awesome. Went to school to photocopy scores and Rose (again). Feel damn disappointed in myself. How could I allow myself to get scolded again. How could I allow myself to disappoint them so easily.. Ah well.

Went over to ACSI to meet the fatty and OMG what a big fat JOKE it was up there! Joel stop sniggering! D: Sorted out compo, lunched with Pris and Amos, back to sorting out compo. Went home, more compo, compo, compo.. I haven’t started studying yet. How awesome is that :D Nevermind, exam in 12 hours, I’ll squeeze in sleep somewhere if I can LOL.

MY COUGH IS TERRIBLE. YAAARGH.

My mind’s a blank and it’s refusing to work. I’ve so much to do (see post below) and I pretty much haven’t started. I know I’m going to regret not studying earlier but I can’t help myself. No idea why I just can’t get myself to do anything other than practicing electone and clarinet.

Ugh, my life has turned topsy turvy just because I screwed my sleep cycle up yesterday. It’s still amazing how I am not tired even now (at this time) with only 4 hours of sleep. And even more amazingly (this one you HAVE to gasp) I woke up entirely by myself after sleeping for only 4 hours. Without any reason. Just like, opened my eyes, sat up, and felt damn awake. Maybe cause I felt damn awake when I went to sleep. But I have no idea where all this energy is coming from. Wow, if only I could survive like this without any tiredness for my entire JC life, I’d have enough time to do everything.

Yesterday night seemed like I was holding an ‘online recital’ (unquote Puaybing) haha. Thanks to all who gave me valuable comments! Some were really awesome interpretations. Thanks for telling me where to improve on! I’ve got them scribbled all over my scores now :)

So today was just. Practicing. Then going for Philwinds concert (I decided not to pangseh). Repertoire was good, atmosphere was awesomely glamorous with disco ball, smoke, colourful lights and glow sticks. (THEY DIDN’T GIVE US. SO UNFAIR.) Audience was terribly havoc though, too many kids and too much screaming. There was an extremely hyper woman in front of us and I was so irritated by her during the second half. A familiar face 2 seats down.

Things to do after Tuesday’s Music paper

• Watch the piano anime that Pb recommended
• Update about trip! Yay I can finally continue updating that stagnant long post. I think I’ll make it into a page eventually.
• Update about leaving band. This one’ll become a page too.
• Rip songs off imeem
• Practice practice practice

Oh great I’ve started yawning. First sign of tiredness in about 24 hours.

I realized that this layout has NO TIME STAMPS ): Guess I’ll have to write the time here at the end of every post then. It’s just doesn’t feel right to blog without time stamps.

Today I feel like cancelling all the programmes I have on and just rot at home.

Self-deception. For too long. And I knew it from the start. I knew it but I refused to believe it. Serve me right.

I don’t regret anything. I don’t regret the memories. Good or bad, I don’t regret them. They’re smarting though. But still, I’ll never regret this friendship.

I don’t remember not being able to sleep like this for a long time. The people whom I’ve said goodnight to are coming online now. Perhaps the last time was during JCBF.

The only thing that’s helping is that I’ve changed a new blog layout and I’ve made an awesome custom header. It’s really awesome methinks :) Haha. I like it!

• Essay outlines (if there’s time)
• Practice

I think I’ll cancel Clarinet lesson today. And I might just decide not to go for Philwinds concert. Tomorrow, I think I’ll just stay home. I’m such a terrible person.

Really can’t wait for Prelims to be over. I want to do so many things now.
