I hate this week ):

-

Time to update my readers (if any). I haven’t updated for so long I think most readers diverted their attention already lol. I’ll just do point-form cause I’m pretty tired. This is what I’ve been up to in the past 18 days of 2009:

  • Dimsum :D
  • Clinic interview (wth)
  • Haircut :)
  • Vivo with Cheryl & Delia :D
  • Visiting Crescent
  • Spamming Classifieds. Basket.
  • Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!!! Awesome models.
  • Recruit Express interview (BS!)
  • Music company interview.
  • Scheduled-but-didn’t-attend interviews.
  • Yesman! Waraku Pasta apology voucher -_-
  • Cristofori interview.
  • See doctor x 2 ):
  • Fairfield Temp Data Entry job :D
  • Visiting ACJC
  • P4 tuition x 2 (naughty kids)
  • Japanese lessons (Rejuvenating.)

Okay, I cheated. I copied most of them from my organiser hahaha. Hmm, life has been.. okay. I’m now (still) working at Fairfield as admin, doing student particulars. I say still cause it’s supposedly a temporary job, but I think it’ll last for a couple more weeks, there’s lots of data to enter -_- It’s been quite fun, I kinda like it. Delia says I’m weird cause nobody likes to do admin but that’s just me I guess. I love to organise and sort things. I like those kind of first periods/contact time when the form teacher has to do those bothersome admin things. As in not the part where time gets wasted and we students get to slack, but the part where we have to sort out what has to be done in that particular term and take down important dates/notices kind of thing. K nevermind, I sound irrelevant. Anyway, the staff at Fairfield are really nice so I’m happy there :) Oh yes I do the data entry in the sick bay (or the guest reception room, but I guess it’s more of a sick bay since there’s a sofa, a wheelchair, a sink, first aid, cushions and a big Pooh; versus a water dispenser and packets of milo/tea/coffee) so I might get sick soon; I’ve already had 2 sick girls in 4 days. Anyway, it’s quite cool that I get to use the staff toilet haha :D Actually, I hope I can work at Fairfield till Uni starts. Although the pay’s not fantastic, I like the environment and I’m pretty comfortable with settling there to do long-term admin till August or something. Hope they’ll have lots of work for me to do so I won’t get fired so early haha :D

Last week was freaking havoc finding jobs. Ripping Classifieds, spamming calls, running all around the country for interviews and whatnots. This week was just. Emotionally draining. Work can keep my mind off most stuff, but not for long. And I’m pretty tired out too, from electone lesson, giving tuition, japanese class, Mus’art practice. But I’m much better now :) I actually took tomorrow off but I think I’ll go back after dental in the morning.

Things to look forward to:

  • Dental (Goodbye lower braces, hello retainers!)
  • Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony with Fatty Sean
  • Berrylite yoghurt shop interview @ PP
  • CNY trip to Malaysia (NOT looking forward to this)
  • Audition

Bleh I ended up talking too much instead of just point-forming. K hopefully I’ll update again soon, if not just nag me LOL. Nights all!

Firstly, Happy 2009 to all! :D This new year post is kinda late but I guess it’ll do :) The last days of 2008 were meaningful: a day with the Sec4 hammy bestie, a night of cycling with the kids across the road, a helluva countdown with the Department.

Applying for jobs together, having cheap Thai Express dinner (Yay for Orange card and 1-for-1 meal voucher!), shopping, chilling at Starbucks.

Expensive sushi lunch, new slippers, haircut, Downtown, East Coast Park, McPherson Beef Kway Teow dinner, night cycling (ECP, Fort Road, Tanjong Rhu, Kallang River, Indoor Stadium, Nicoll Highway, Suntec City, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Lau Pa Sat, One Fullerton, Peninsula Plaza, Esplanade, Singapore Flyer, weird bridges and detours, Indoor Stadium, Kallang River, Tanjong Rhu, Fort Road, ECP), funny accidents (I fixed a bike chain, go QM! :D), awesome bridge, Red Bull statements, butt aches, man in river, white Merlion, bright sky, colourful dustbins, wall-lover, basket :D, carrying bikes up stairs, bike jams, finally Macs, burnout. (That was the night I laughed so much, I developed a cough. Yup go ahead and laugh at me.)

Downtown camping, cough, sore throat, Marina Square, Australia, City Hall, Marina Bay, Marina Pier, Stewoard’s Riverboat, semi-buffet, house pour, fried mushrooms, main courses, dessert, burps, farts, tummyaches, waves, wind, lousy camera, incredibly noisy Chinese countdown on land, fireworks (blocked view), party poppers, going high, blowing bubbles :D (This year’s bubbles need blowing, but that’s okay) Bubble Esplanade :D Superlong walk back to Marina Bay, Downtown camping. 10x more laughter than the previous night (so imagine my dying throat).
